Maya's mission is to create beautiful, livable spaces that meet her client's aesthetic, functional and economic goals. She works closely with each client to understand their specific preferences and aesthetic to create customized and unique spaces. She believes in combining various styles in order to create balanced and cohesive looks, and blend modern, rustic, industrial and elegant elements to create a diverse yet unified style.

Maya's diverse background gives her a unique and distinctive perspective when creating your ideal space.  From the beaches of Brazil where Maya was born, to the sidewalk cafes of Belgium where her family lives; from an elegant pied-à-terre in Paris to a modern Tokyo apartment, both places Maya lived while working in international real estate for over 10 years; and finally, from her current home, a historic yet modern townhouse in Fort Greene: Maya takes inspiration from around the world to incorporate design elements, both classic and contemporary, into your home.
